It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother who died peacefully on December 20, 2018, at the age of 84 years. She was predeceased by her loving husband Gabriele, Pia will be deeply missed by her children Maria Teresa (Corey) and Franco (Mary). Proud grandmother of Samantha. Pia will also be forever remembered by her brother Pietro, nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends.
Mom was the force that kept our family together. She lived her life centered on her faith and was a nurturing mother and grandmother. She lived a life full of love, joy, and gratitude and maintained her elegance to the end. She was a sweet, kind, fun and loyal friend.
A mass will be celebrated in memory of Pia on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at noon, at Notre-Dame-de-la-Resurrection Chapel, 4601 Côte-des-Neiges followed by the burial at the St Peter/St Paul mausoleum.
Those who so desire may make memorial donations in memory of Pia to the Jewish General Hospital , 3755 Cote St. Catherine , Montreal, Quebec H3T 1E2.
