It is with great grief that we announce the death of Mark William Levy, who passed away June 20, 2018 at the age of 70. Mark came to Montreal from his native Queens, NY to attend McGill University and began teaching English Literature at the Lafontaine campus of Dawson College in 1973. His talents as a teacher as well as editor, musician and graphic artist were greatly appreciated by students and colleagues alike. After a life of travel, from the footbridges of rural China to the beaches of Thailand, Cambodia and Greece, he is now embarking on his final journey. May this one bring him peace. He is survived by his daughter Anaïs (Simon Boiteau) and grandson Éloan, cousins Martin Lipsitt, Nancy and Katie Lipsitt and many loving friends. Visitation will be held at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Home, 5610 Sherbrooke Street West, Montreal, on Sunday June 24th, 2018 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
