Maria Izzi, known for her kindness and generosity, passed away at the age of 92 on Wednesday, June 16, 2021.
Maria was born in Mafalda, Italy. She was the daughter of the late Vincenzo and Angela (Zara) Izzi. She was raised along her five siblings. Maria was preceded in death by her husband, Guido Finamore, and sisters, Filomena and Esterina. She is survived by her sister, Antonietta, and her brothers, Francesco and Angelo.
Maria loved life. She started every day with gratitude. Maria enjoyed the company of her family and love for God above everything.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 21st, 2021 at Centre Funéraire Côte-des-Neiges, 4525, chemin de la Côtes-des-Neiges, Montréal, Québec H3V 1E7 at 10:30 AM. In honor of Maria’s generous spirit, her family requests donations be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.
