It is with sadness that we announce the passing of John Ruggiero, on January 22, 2020, three days after his 90th birthday. Beloved husband of Luci (née Grenier), cherished father to Mark (Alison) and Barry (Karyn), and devoted Papa to Catriona, Erica, Matthew, Olivia and Ethan. Also survived by sisters, Lucy and Mickey, and brothers, Al (Sally) and Arthur (Agnes).
We extend a heartfelt thank you to the dedicated and tireless staff at CHSLD Marguerite-Rocheleau, who were a blessing in John's last year.
Visitation will be held at Centre Funéraire Côte-des-Neiges (4525, ch. de la Côte-des-Neiges) on January 30 from 2:00-5:00 pm and 7:00 -9:00 pm. A mass will be celebrated in the Chapelle Notre-Dame-de-la-Résurrection (Cimetière Notre-Dame-des-Neiges) on Friday, January 31, at 2:00 pm.
The family will receive condolences in the chapel prior to the service as of 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Montreal would be appreciated.
