Helen (Popovitch) Bousquet

Femme de tête et de cœur, artiste dans l’âme, elle a su exploiter sa créativité par la danse, la couture et la peinture. Mère aimante et dévouée, elle a toujours eu à cœur de garder sa famille unie et le bien-être de celle-ci. Ses voyages à travers le monde lui ont permis d’enrichir sa culture et ont fait d’elle une femme ouverte d’esprit. Nous nous souviendrons de son énergie débordante, de ses talents culinaires et de son raffinement.

Elle laisse dans le deuil ses enfants Suzanne, Paul (Johanne Guérin) et Marie-Elaine (Dr Marc Afilalo), ses quatre petits-enfants Manuel et Annick Francisci, Dr Jonathan Afilalo (Alexia Bitton) et Stéphanie Afilalo (Phillip Besner), ses onze arrière-petits-enfants ainsi que de nombreux neveux, nièces et amis.

En raison de la pandémie, un rassemblement commémoratif sera organisé ultérieurement. Nous invitons donc les personnes souhaitant y assister et/ou nous envoyer leurs condoléances, à nous faire parvenir le tout à l’adresse suivante : paul.bousquet@videotron.ca

Vu son attachement pour les animaux de compagnie, rien ne lui ferait plus plaisir que des dons soient faits à la SPCA, organisme qu’elle encourageait régulièrement.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Helen Popovitch Bousquet on January 17th, 2021, at the age of 95. Wife of the late Jean Bousquet.

A woman of heart, head and action, she was an artist in her soul and was able to exploit her creativity through dancing, sewing and painting. Being a loving and devoted mother, she always had at heart the well being of her family and to keep it united. Her many trips around the world allowed to enrich her culture and be very open minded. We will always remember her incredible energy, her culinary talents as well as her refinement.

She will be sadly missed by her children, Suzanne, Paul (Johanne Guérin), Marie-Elaine (Dr. Marc Afilalo), her 4 grandchildren Manuel and Annick Francisci, Dr. Jonathan Afilalo (Alexia Bitton) Stephanie Afilalo (Phillip Besner) her 11 great grandchildren, her many nieces, nephews and friends.
