Georgia Boyce

Passed away peacefully at the age of 90, surrounded by her loving daughters, on Wednesday June 28 at the Montclair Residence. Betty's wish to live at home, into her nineties, was made possible by the CCAC and nurses of Carefor in Ottawa. Her return to her birthplace, Montreal, in May 2017, allowed her to live her last months in a familiar neighbourhood, full of memories, assisted by the compassionate staff of the Montclair Residence.

Predeceased by husbands Richard Kearns and Joseph Boyce. Cherished mother of Stephanie Dunne (Malcolm), Patricia Kearns (Moira), and Victoria. Treasured step-mother of Diane Forestell (Roy), Raymond Boyce and Father James Boyce, O. Carm.(deceased). Proud and loving grandmother of Michael, Jennifer and Steve Dunne and Michael and Lucas Forestell. Beloved aunt of Linda Boisvert (Bert), Carol Bedford (Ken), Philip Brown (Bev), Margo MacLean (Bob) and her American cousin Felicidad Oberholzer (Alexis).

Betty had a kind and generous heart and a contagious joie de vivre. Her close and extended family and friends (including felines) meant the world to her. She will be deeply missed and forever loved and remembered.

Visitation on Tuesday July 4 from 2-4 and 7-9 at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White, 5610 Sherbrooke St. West, Montreal. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, July 5 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Ignatius of Loyola Church, 4455 West Broadway St. Montreal burial at a later date.
