Catherine Jackson Hamilton

Beloved mother of Lester Baynes Jackson (Humaira) and devoted nana to Anisa Mei, Leila Kaelyn, and Ismael Lester; daughter to Clarissa Agard (Granny); and adoptive mother to Fay Hamilton; godmother to Emerson Thomas and Shanice Braithwaite, Cathy was the nucleus of a village of beautiful and strong Caribbean women who nurtured each other, their children, and grandchildren. She was an active member of St. Lawrence Anglican Church for over fifty years. We remember Cathy’s fabulous style, hospitable spirit, and devoted service as a labor and delivery nurse, foster resource to psychiatric adult clients and caregiver to her mother. She will be sadly missed, but our memories of the stories she shared, the wisdom she imparted, and the joy she brought to life will never be forgotten.

The following illustrates the scheduling of when the family will receive your condolences :

Visitation : at the Collins Clarke MacGillivray White funeral homes (5610 Sherbrooke St W, Montreal QC H4A1W5, private parking available on Marcil Street in the back of the funeral home : 2297 Av Marcil, Montreal QC H4A2Z2) on Friday, September 20th, from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Visitation : at the church will take place on Saturday, September 21st, from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. at the St Lawrence Anglican Church (520 75e Avenue, LaSalle, QC H8R 2P5,)

Funeral mass : on Saturday, September 21st, at 1 p.m. to 2.30 p.m. at the St Lawrence Anglican Church (520 75e Avenue, LaSalle, QC H8R 2P5, parking available on private parking on the church property)

Burial : Her final resting place will be at the Rideau Memorial Gardens (4239 Bd des Sources, Dollard-des-Ormeaux, QC H9B 2A6)
