A free spirit spread her wings and took flight on Friday April 12th, 2024 at the age of 57 surrounded by her loved ones. Anita was a courageous, self-reliant woman with unrivalled kindness and compassion. Who never hesitated to lend a helping hand to care for those around her.
She was diagnosed with cancer mid March and battled the illness fearlessly. Throughout this battle Anita showed her children, family and friends the value of courage and the lesson that even when everything seems hopeless, it's still possible to laugh be resilient and inspire others in ways you could never have imagined.
Anita had a strong love of fashion and always made sure to express her individuality and creativity through her wardrobe. She was a craft enthusiast and always enjoyed creating handmade items to enliven and brighten her surroundings.
She made many unforgettable memories and friendships while travelling the all around the world and instilling in her kids the importance of culture. Her two favourite countries were Australia and England.
Predeceased by her loving Father, Peter Geier, she leaves to mourn her Children Callie and Jake, Mother Emilia Wolf , Sister Karen, Brother-in-law Rudy, Nieces Laura, Jessica and Mark, Cousin Marek. They will all miss her presence.
Anita was more than just a mother, sister, or friend—she was an individual who passionately followed her own path, overcoming uncertainty to create a life that will serve as an example to others around her.
Visitations will take place at the Collins Clarke MacGillivray White funeral home (5610 Sherbooke St W, Montreal QC H4A1W5) on May 3rd, 2024 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Private parking is available on Marcil Street at the following address 2320 Av Marcil, Montreal QC H4A 2Z1.
