Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on August 16, 2016 at the age of 94. Beloved wife of the late Benedetto Serena; loving mother of Giovanni "John" (Paulette Huppee) and Diana (Franco Tedeschi). Cherished grandmother of Maria (Vincent Caluori), Ben (Natasha Faller), Brenda (Romeo Sacchetti), and Rino (Helen Argyriou). Proud great-grandmother of Federico, Anna-Maria, Milana, Giovanni, Luciana, Melissa, Sara, Robert, Christopher, and Alexia. She will be missed by her family, nieces, nephews and all who knew her. Resting at Collins Clarke MacGIllivray White Funeral Home, 5610 Sherbrooke Street West, Montreal. Visitation will take place on Sunday, August 21, 2016 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at St. Raymond de Pennafort Church, 5765 St. Jacques Street West, on Monday, August 22, 2016 at 10 a.m. Interment at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery (Marguerite-Bourgeoys Mausoleum).
