- [ ] I shall remember Andrea as one of the kindest and most endearing persons one can ever meet. He was affectionate, generous and always ready and happy to be of help. Having him as a next door neighbour for many years was a real treat. 

- [ ] With his passing, I cannot help but reflect upon the fact that it is a whole Generation of men and women which is slowly but inexorably leaving us. Men and women uprooted from the old country in search of a better life for themselves and their children.  Most of them arriving here with empty pockets and old, battered suitcases filled with  hope , yes, but most of all bursting with a burning desire to work hard and forge a better future for their families. Such a man was Andrea. And no one worked harder than he. To him and to his Generation we pay tribute for having paved the way for us. Lest we forget.

You would have been 93 years old, god wanted you with nonna.
