William David Gray Sr.

Gray, William David, Sr., 85, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, October 10th, 2023. He was a member of Highland Garden Baptist Church. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at Leak Memory Chapel, with Earl Wise officiating at 10:00 am. Visitation is one hour prior to service. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Good Shepherd section.

Mr. Gray was preceded in death by a daughter, Charlotte Gray Barker, his parents: Robert Leroy Gray, Sr. and Virginia Mae Gray; four sisters: Carol Wilson, Jane Porter, Dootsie Harrell Sealy and Mary Ann Daniel and two brothers: Robert Leroy Gray, Jr. and J. E. Gray. He is survived by his loving wife of almost 65 years Peggy Sue Gray; one daughter, Donna (Dan DeVoe), one son, William David Jr. (Annette Gray); an adopted daughter, Lara (Chad Loving); five grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild on the way.
