William QV Broadway, age 94 of Elmore, passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2016. Mr. Broadway was a loving and generous husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He professed his belief in Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. Mr. Broadway was a proud veteran of World War II, and he enjoyed sharing stories about his experiences. He was a skilled cabinet maker by trade for most of his adult life. His favorite things to watch were Alabama Football and old western movies, which he spent countless hours doing. Mr. Broadway will be sorely missed by all those who loved him. He is survived by his children, Jimmy (Jo Ann) Broadway, Betty (Carl) Conway, Bama Austin, John Melvin Broadway; grandchildren, Tracy Mitchell, Linda Holland, Michael Broadway, Sonya Burton, Carla Parker, Angela Brown, James Rolling, Bill Rolling, Bridget Terri, Margret McDaniel; 12 great-grandchildren; and 11 great-great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, Friday, December 30, 2016 at Leak Memory Chapel. A graveside service will immediately follow at 12:30 PM in Montgomery Memorial Cemetery.
