

On May 14th 2021, I recieved the most exciting news. My best friend was expecting a baby!! We were exited, scared, an REALLY ready to know if it was a boy or a girl. 
The beginning of Summer wasn't bad but it did not take long until little Miss. decided the Alabama heat was way too hot. It was time to turn down the heat and crank up the eats.  By eats I mean McDonald's (odd) and Nachos. Not real Nachos, the kind you get at the ballgame or the zoo. That's OK, a girl knows what she wants. 
So, I started buying up clothes and Momma was relaxing them toes. Hey, she deserved it. Carrying a girl, at least in my experiences, has never been without a lot of sickness. 
I could not wait to take pictures of the Mommy and Daddy who were so proud of this little bundle of joy. They wanted to shout it from the rooftop, so they did, in a pink dust bomb form. Everyone was so excited for baby Potter to be here! But, not as excited as the ever slowly growing, glowing, Momma Megg and the very tentative Daddy T.J. However, the look on Trins face was priceless. 
The baby shower brought us all together. Those who could not be there reached out with love. Everyone wanted to offer a hand of love to help with making it beautiful when Tinz made her arrival.  She was and is so loved. 
On November 21, 2021, I got a call that flipped my world upside down. God had a different plan for baby Tinz. But it did not make the earthly pain any easier. We will mourn her. We will grieve her. But there are some very special people in Heaven who are loving on this little bundle of red headed joy. Tinsley Joy. The joy she did bring us. That name is so fitting. 
The day will come when we get to see that sweet face again, and we will rejoice with her. Until then, it's just "We will see you in a little bit."
