Dear Charlotte and Family,

Photo is Carl and Tim after a "rough" day of prison ministry. It was an honor to serve with and for Tim in being "Jesus with skin on." We miss Tim.    

Charlotte: I learned of Tim's death today in a message from Colleen Davis. Apparently she had received a message of Tim's death from Carol Schultz. 
On the one hand I feel sad that Tim died so early in life while on the other hand I feel grateful for the ministry that Christ has done through out both of your lives. May God be with you in this season of suffering and grief! You and your family will be in my prayers. May God surround you with love.

Dear Charlotte,
So many memories have come flooding into my heart today.  I was so privileged to have served with Tim as a journeyman, traveled with him through the holy land and Europe, and received the honor of being a groomsman in your wedding.  Just thinking about the few years that we were able to enjoy fellowship together makes me stop to praise God for his goodness.  Tim was a true brother and encourager in Christ.  He always lifted me up and was so much fun to be around.  His and your service to the people of Africa is truly amazing.   I know your legacy will continue.  I'm also sure that Tim is now rejoicing with Jesus.  My wife, Shanna, and I are praying that God will encourage your heart by His presence.  Our love and prayers.

What an awesome Brother and friend.  One of the best bosses I ever had in his role as CM Director.  Went out of his way to befriend and love me.  A mighty man of God through his love and faithfulness.  A mentor and someone I want to grow up to be like.  Love you Brother Tim...will see you on the other side.

Tim and I were room-mates in an an apartment of four at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary.  We also worked together doing survey work while attending seminary.  He operated the survey equipment and drove the truck our crew used.  I remember his love and devotion to God and missions and his quiet laugh even when things weren’t going exactly right.  I knew of his strong love for Charlotte in seminary and in later years for Charlotte and their children.   He was a very special and caring person. My condolences to Charlotte and all the family.

So sorry to hear of Tim’s passing. Your family is a fond part of our memories during our time in Zimbabwe. Tim was a great mentor to us as we started our overseas journey. Now he and Manny are together. Prayers for all of you at this time. 

I loved Tim and his precious wife and family and prayed constantly that his passion for the lost would be something I would seek to have.
He taught, practiced and lived Revelation 7:9.

 Want to let you know you & your family are my prayers as you go through this difficult time. You & Tim meant so much to my parents, Ralph & Laverne Rummage. They considered you as their son & daughter as well as being fellow missionaries. They have both been gone from this earth 2 years, but are rejoicing that Tim has joined them in heaven worshipping at Jesus’ feet.

We are blessed to be your neighbors and to have had the opportunity to get to know Mr. Tim. He radiated a contagious Christ-like love for others, which we were privileged to have experienced. From hosting our holiday neighbor gatherings, to always welcoming my kids when they invited themselves over, to lovingly sharing the gospel with each soul in my home - I am forever grateful The Lord placed us along your paths. 

We sure will miss his presence, more than we could have imagined. We love your family and will continue to pray for peace and comfort.

Dear Charlotte and family, Karen and I are praying for you, and we send our sincerest condolences. Tim was one of the most Christ-like brothers I have ever known.  It was always my joy to partner with him when I served as deployment consultant for Subsaharan Africa, because he made it that way. I pray the Lord grant you strength and wisdom and His comfort for these days and the times ahead.
