DOANE, Thomas Stephen, USAF, Lt. Col, Ret., 86, of Montgomery, AL, passed away on Thursday, February 2, 2017. He was preceded in death by first wife, Twila E. Doane, and second wife, Emmalene M. Doane, and two sisters, Nancy and Jane and daughter-in-law Kathy Brown. He is survived by three sons, Thomas S. Doane, Jr., Allen S. Doane (Karen) and Frank Brown; one sister, Carla; grandchildren, Frank Brown, Jr., Alanna Powers (Thom), Allen Doane Jr., (Katie) and Lovell Doane. A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 8, 2017. Inurnment will follow in Alabama Heritage Cemetery with military honors rendered. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
