Sue loved her sweet Lord Jesus, and served him faithfully. She was a faithful prayer warrior, and talented musician, who taught piano lessons as a young adult. She also served in several local churches as pianist and organist, and retired from playing the organ following many years of service at Heritage Baptist Church, Montgomery. She was an active member of Woodland United Methodist Church, Pike Road. She was a wonderful wife, and an amazing, supportive mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She had a Christ-like love for her family and friends, and will be greatly missed, until we see her again!
In keeping with current health restrictions, a family only visitation (Leak Memory Chapel) and graveside service (Greenwood Cemetery) will be held Thursday, May 7, 2020. Serving as pall bearers are Taylor Borders, Brett Borders, Keith Barrow, Brandon Foxworth, Ron Borders and Steve Mishoe.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations be made to Woodland United Methodist Church, 4428 Wallahatchie Road, Pike Road, AL 36064. ATTN: Music Ministry.
