Sheila Kathleen Baldwin

BALDWIN, Sheila Kathleen (DeeDee), born on October 13, 1937 in AZ, passed away at home on Wednesday, September 16, 2015. She was preceded in death by her parents, Dr. Vogel Jeffery and Mary Ruth Jeffery, brother John Jeffery, sister Shirley Jeffery, her daughter Debora Kathleen Baldwin Sparks, and granddaughter Sheila Kathleen Sparks. She is survived by her beloved husband of 62 years, Ret. CMST Richard Van Baldwin; daughter, Linda Baldwin Singleton (Walter C. Jr.); son Jeffery Van Baldwin (Annette); grandsons Richard Van Baldwin II, Nicholas H. Allen; great granddaughter, Skyler Kathleen Sparks; nieces Mary LaBella, Mickey Andrew and Nephew John Jeffery. She dedicated her life to her family, raising children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a very loving and compassionate person to all she came in contact with. She was a princess of the Daughters of the Nile and a Gunter NCO Wives Club member. She also helped her husband who was a Chief Aide at the Alcazar Shrine Temple by organizing the women and helping with all temple function for ten years. She will be missed by all that were blessed to know her. Visitation will be held at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home on Monday, September 21, 2015 from 12:00 p.m. until 1:30 p.m. Graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in Alabama Heritage Cemetery with Priest Candice Frazier officiating.
