Sharon Ruth McCormick

In Memory of Sharon Conroy McCormick.

Born October 6, 1961 and passed November 13, 2018.

Sharon was born in Pontiac, Michigan. At the age of twelve she moved to Dickson, Tennessee and graduated from Dickson County Senior High.

Sharon married her high school sweetheart and loved and adored her two beautiful children, Christopher, now age 32 and Katelyn, age 29.

After moving to Montgomery, Alabama, Sharon became a Legal Assistant for The Alabama Resource Center, defending the wrongfully accused, a job she was very passionate about. In later years she worked for the Montgomery Breast Cancer Center and very much enjoyed her job there.

Sharon was a natural comedian. She could always find a joke in even the most dire of circumstances to lighten the mood and make everyone feel at ease.

Sharon loved her pets and most recently her two cats. "The Cat Lady" could never turn away from feeding the strays outside her door.

Sharon made friends easily and loved and is loved by many. She was the "middle sister" and watched over and prayed always for her sisters and brothers.

She is survived by her children Christopher and Katelyn, her sisters Kelly, Deneen, Dana and Terry, her brothers Mark and Dennis, and nieces and nephews Stephanie, Andrea, Nathan, Loryn, Noah, Alexa, Reanna and Natilee.

Sharon will be forever missed.
