Sharon is survived by; son Don Angelo Hollinger; daughter-in-law Dr. Karen D. Harrison-Hollinger; and son Amiri Christopher Hollinger; cousins- Richetta D. Cofield Stanford "Lois," Tamara S. Cofield "Tammy," Rozell Cofield, Jr "Junior," and Henry Cofield "Tootsie".
While Sharon Hollinger was known for her free spirit and adventurous mindset, she completed several educational milestones including: a Masters degree in Human Resources from Alabama Christian College (now Falkner University) and a Doctorate in Theology from Touch of Love Ministries.
Ms. Hollinger loved to be a part of prayer and worship with fellow believers. As reflected in her earned doctorate, she was accustomed to intense personal bible study and sharing her study with others.
Her contagious laugh endeared her grandchildren. One of their favorite past times centered around watching Tyler Perry movies.
Sharon was preceded in death by; father Bernis Griffin; mother Rentha Coffield-Griffin and brother Robert Griffin.
A memorial service to celebrate her life and accomplishments will be scheduled at a later date.
