Sara R Weatherly

Sara R. Weatherly, of Montgomery, passed away on October 18, 2012 at Crowne Health Care. She was born in Nettleton, Mississippi on June 24, 1924. Mrs. Weatherly was preceded in death by her husband, William K. Weatherly, by her parents Braxton and Flora Rankin of Nettleton, four brothers, and one sister. She is survived by daughter Mary Ann (Larry) Moody of Northport; son Kerry (Karen) Weatherly of Montgomery; and son James "Bo" Weatherly of Pelham. Grandchildren Alanna (Scott) Koon of Northport, AL; Brad (Molly) Moody of Ridgeland, MS; Dena and Leigh Weatherly of Montgomery, AL; Phillip Weatherly of Smyrna, GA; and David (Jessica) Weatherly of Montgomery, AL; sister Earnestine (Frank) South of Largo, FL, and three sisters-in-law. Mrs. Weatherly was a long-time and faithful member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church. Services will be held at Leak Memory Chapel on Tuesday, October 23, 2012 at 11:00 AM with visitation beginning at 10:00 AM. Graveside services to follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers are Phillip Weatherly, David Weatherly, Brad Moody, Scott Koon, Spurgeon Smith, and Dale Jones.
