Sandra Ann Rhodes, 82, a longtime resident of Montgomery, passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at Jackson Hospital. Mrs. Rhodes is survived by her daughter, Wendy Ellen (Jerry) Grant and her two granddaughters, Krista Ashley Grant-Duraski (Turner Duraski) and Kelsey Elise Grant.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Rhodes; her parents, John and Edna Ruth Gardner; and her sister, Sylvia (Rod) Lide.
A graduate of Troy University, Mrs. Rhodes was a long time employee of Auburn University at Montgomery. Sandra loved her family, Auburn football, traveling and her feline companion, Carson.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Elmore County.
A visitation for Sandra will be held Thursday, May 23, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Leak Memory Chapel, 945 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL 36109, followed by a celebration of life at 2:00 PM.
