Russell Hubert Maddox Jr.

Mr. Russell Hubert Maddox Jr., 68, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Thursday, March 16, 2017 at his residence. He is preceded in death by his parents; Russell Hubert Maddox, Sr., and Jacquelyn King Maddox, a brother; Randall Lane Maddox and his grandparents; Guy and Nettie Maddox, and Wilber and Beatrice King. He is survived by his wife of 40 years; Deborah Joan Maddox. He is also survived by his two daughters; Amber Maddox and Summer Hoffman, two grandchildren; Kody Burtram and Madison Ayers, a brother; Richard King Maddox and a niece; Heather Maddox. Rusty was a kind and loving husband, father and friend. Family was very important to him and he loved spending time with his wife, daughters, and grandchildren. Rusty was a generous, kind and unselfish man who had a heart for animals and loved birds. He enjoyed the outdoors, spending time at the beach with family, listening to country music and was a diehard Alabama Crimson Tide fan. He will be greatly missed by family and friends. Roll Tide! A public visitation will be held on Thursday, March 23, 2017 from 5-6pm in the chapel of White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home followed by a Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 6:00pm. Rev.
