Ronald Frederick Rikerd went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 23, 2020. He loved the Lord, first and foremost, and was a faithful member of Eastdale Baptist Church for more than 50 years. He also spent over 40 years working for the Alabama Department of Transportation doing a job he loved dearly.
“Ronnie” was born on August 17, 1942 in DeFuniak Springs, FL and spent the majority of his life in Montgomery, AL. He is preceded in death by his father, Leonard Rikerd. He is survived by his wife Marry Rikerd, his mother, Dorothy Rikerd, his son, Richard Rikerd (Sheila), his granddaughter Alexandria Rikerd, and his sister, Judi Daniels (Ray).
A graveside service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery on Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at 10:00.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to either Eastdale Baptist Church, or the Montgomery Humane Society in Ronnie’s honor.
