Ronald Wayne Rhodes

He was born and raised by his loving parents in Goshen, Al. He attended Goshen High School and graduated the class of 1962. Ronald worked for Albany International/Appleton Wire Division as a weaver/wire repairman for 37 years and retired in 2003. He enjoyed many outside activities; farming, fishing, gardening, raising his many colorful roses and tinkering on broken machinery.

Ronald is survived by his loving wife of 50 ½ years, Patricia and three wonderful sons whom he was so proud of; Ronald Rhodes Jr, Chris Rhodes, Michael Rhodes and wife Laura. He has two sisters who he loved very much; Joanne Rowe, Sharon Rhodes and one brother most loved also, Charles Rhodes, wife Kathy. He was very proud of his family and his five loved and cherished grandchildren; Emily Rhodes, Leah Rhodes, Sarah Rhodes, Trent Rhodes and Shay Rhodes. Also he loved all of his nieces and nephews. Survived also by two special brother-in-laws, Donny Price, wife Beth, Ken Longcrier, predeceased wife, Darleen and his many respected friends. He was always a very generous, caring and giving person.

Ronald is predeceased by our most beloved and cherished daughter, Kimberlea Ann Rhodes, his loving mother and father, Curry and Mattie Rhodes, brother, Bud Rhodes and sister, Glenda Sanford, mother–in-law, Loyce Knuutilla, sister-in-law, Darleen Longcrier and brother-in-law, Billy Rowe.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 21, 2016 at 9:30 AM at leak Memory Chapel. Immediately followed by Graveside Services at 10:30 AM in Greenwood Cemetery. Graveside Services will be officiated by his nephew, David Rowe.
