Ronald moved to this area from Thomasville, Georgia. He was a member of Highland Gardens Baptist Church and enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching Alabama football in his free time. He retired from AT&T after many years.
Ronald was preceded in death by his grandparents, William H. Gandy, Sr. and Bessie Hall, and Oscar and Pauneal Culbreth; his parents, Willam H. Gandy, Jr. and Cora Ethel Gandy Finch; and his brother, Allen M. Gandy.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Linda Gandy; his children, Ronald David Gandy, Jr., Michelle Sharpton, and Karen Gandy; and his grandchildren, Hunter Gentry, Lacey Gandy and Layton Gandy.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Ana Terejo and hospice caregivers Brandy and Sheila.
A friends and family visitation for Ronald will be held Sunday, April 13, 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home, 909 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL 36109, followed by a celebration of life chapel service from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
