Robert Claude Cozart

Robert Claude Cozart Jr. passed away on Dec 12, 2022 at his residence surrounded by loving family. Robert was born on March 12, 1943 in Tennessee and later moved to Alabama. He owned Union 76 service station for over 40 years and after retirement owned a produce stand with his wife Margie. In his spare time he enjoyed fishing, cutting the grass and most of all spending time with his family.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents Robert Claude Cozart Sr. and Annie Lee McNeal; brother Raymond Andrew Cozart Sr. He is survived by his wife Margie N. Cozart; sister Francis M. Miller; daughter Christie L. Smith; son in law Dewayne S. Smith; step son David B. Wood; grandchildren Zachary Smith, Tyler Smith and Emily Smith; step granddaughter Heather N. Wood.

Pall bearers Corey Taylor, Dewayne Smith, Zachary Smith, Tyler Smith, Aiden Wilson, Jonah Spivey.

A Celebration of Life Graveside service will be held on Monday Dec. 19, at 2:00 PM at Greenwood Cemetery with a family and friends visitation one hour prior to the service.

In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Dr. Michael Ingram 4143 Carmichael Road, Montgomery, Al 36106 in Robert’s name.

A family and friends visitation for Robert will be held Monday, December 19, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. Following the family and friends visitation will be a celebration of life graveside service at 2:00 PM at Greenwood Cemetery.
