Robert Randall Cochran, age 93, of Montgomery, Alabama passed away on Friday surrounded by loved ones. He was born to Robert Cochran and Odell Smith in 1929. Mr. Cochran was predeceased by his parents and his wife of 39 years, Willene Cochran, but is survived by his niece, Brenda (John) Helms and nephew, Gilbert (Beverly) Summerlin and a host of other nieces and nephews.
A US Navy veteran, he retired from Sears and Roebuck after 39 years of employment. He enjoyed hunting and camping, as well as talking on his ham radio. He will be missed by all who knew him.
A family and friends visitation for Robert will be held Thursday, May 11, 2023 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Leak Memory followed by a celebration of life chapel service at 2:00 PM. Services will conclude with a graveside committal at Greenwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to Wares Ferry Baptist Church.
