Ricky Neal Bowling

Ricky “Rick” Bowling, age 58, a native of Oneonta, AL and a resident of Montgomery,AL , passed away Friday, October 6, 2017. Rick received his BA in Nursing from Troy State University, Montgomery. He served as Director of Nursing at Baptist Hospital for more than 20 years and as Nursing Supervisor at Health South for more than 5 years. Rick was loved by everyone who was lucky enough to have known him and will be greatly missed. He was an amazing partner, brother, uncle, father and friend. He was genuine, honest, caring and generous. He is preceded in death by his mother, Bobbie Fowler, Special Grandmother Velma Bowling and Special Aunt Onzell Denney. Rick is survived by his son Ricky Bowling, partner Dewayne Carpenter, sister Donna and Robert Warren, brother Steve and Bronna Fowler, sister Diane and Eric Bryant, nieces Stephanie and Brian Stephens, Alana Stephens and Vanessa Stephens, Hannah and Renzzo Huaytalla, Lauren Bryant and Madison Bryant, mother-in-law Patsy Carpenter, brothers-in-law Randy Carpenter and Paul Carpenter. Visitation will be held Thursday, October 12, 2017 from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home in Montgomery, immediately followed by his memorial service.
