Randal Lee Stevens, 69, went home to be with the Lord on December 19, 2019 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Cathy Manley Stevens; his children, Rachel Nicole Quattlebaum (Adam), Matthew L. Stevens (Sophie), Jeff Miles (Elise); Wesley Kirk Miles; his grandchildren, Kent Dixon and Bodhi Miles; his siblings, Brenda Solomon, Sandra Kendrick (John), Mickey Stevens (Betty), Benny Stevens (Donna). He was preceded in death by his parents, Moses M. & Johnnie Mae Stevens.
Randal was a loving husband, Dad and Papa. He served in the US Navy aboard the USS Barney. During that time he was able to travel the world and became a Veteran in the Vietnam War. Through his love for helping people, he became a master mason and later a Shriner. He loved camping, Auburn football and meeting new people. He worked hard, played hard and loved even harder. He was adored by many and had an incredible sense of humor. We will always remember the stories he told of the frog and the squirrel.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2019 from 2:00-4:00pm at Leak Memory Chapel. A chapel service will be held on Sunday, December 22, 2019 at 1:00pm at Leak Memory with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow the service at Greenwood Memorial Serenity Gardens.
