Peggy Perkins Allen

Peggy Perkins Allen, age 90 of Auburn, Alabama went to her heavenly home on December 31, 2017. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Peggy was born March 4, 1927. She graduated from Phillips High School in Birmingham, Alabama. Peggy was a loving wife to her husband C.D. Allen for 66 years and a devoted mother to four children. She was a member of the Sowers Sunday School Class at Frazer Memorial United Methodist Church.

Peggy is survived by her children: Jimmy (Juanice) of Port Arthur, Texas, Charlotte Crawford of Auburn, Ben (Rita) of Lake Jordan, and Jeff (Belinda) of Atlanta, Georgia. A sister, Tanyia Perkins Honstetter, Her grandchildren, Jason Allen (Carrie) of Kingwood, Texas, Kelley Romanowski (Scott) of Birmingham, AL, Hollis Marshall (Will) of Auburn, AL, Terry Allen (Crystal), Wilmington, North Carolina, Justin and Jessica Allen, of Atlanta, Georgia, and Clayton Allen of Lake Jordan, AL. She also has 2 step-granddaughters, Tina Stanley (Jim) of Dallas, Texas, Marie Ginn of Gulf Shores, AL. and 2 step grandsons, Whit and Parker Maupin of Atlanta, GA. She was also blessed to have 9 Great-grandchildren.

Peggy was preceded in death by her sisters Alene Perkins Hale and Cathleen Perkins Crandall, both of Birmingham and her husband C.D.

Visitation for Peggy will be held on Friday, January 5th with visitation from 10-11AM with a short service immediately following. She touched the lives of all those that knew her.
