On Wednesday I received a letter from someone notifying me of the passing of Andy (Andy is what he went by in 1964 as his dad was known as Paul).  Like most everyone who met Andy, we became instant friends.  While I was still in high school Andy went off to join the Navy.  As soon as he returned we renewed our friendship - with Andy, it was like he had only been gone a week or two. He had this wonderful gift of friendship that he readily shared with everyone. 

 I have lived in South Carolina since 1990, and in the recent years, we were able to get back together and enjoy old memories and generate new ones as he often  visited his sister nearby.  He never lost his sense of humor and unique point of view of life itself.  I will miss him as so many others will and do.

The word was a better place because of Paul. He didn’t meet a stranger and was immediately a friend. He always had a joke, smile or story to share. He loved life and coffee scented candles. Rest In Peace Paul. 

Andy was a high school friend and he will be missed!  He could always brighten my day with just a phone call!  Rest In Peace my friend!  Connie 

I will miss him coming in Lowe's! The few years I did know and get to chat with him was an every day joy.  Praying for his sweet family . Rest in peace my friend till we meet again!! 

So sorry to hear about Andy’s passing. He was my most adventurous cousin and and I thought the world of him! I loved going to Daytona to be with his family and when he came to Macon 
you never knew what we could get into!

To the family of Paul Jackson:  

My deepest sympathies to all of you on the loss of our beloved Paul!  He was a true friend in every sense of the word! 

I will greatly miss hearing his voice when he would call and start out by saying "bubalicious"!  He could always make me smile when we spoke.  He was as genuine as they got.  Such a good man that will be missed greatly by all!  Truly one of a kind, special person!!  So grateful Paul and I were able to meet up in New Orleans last fall and spend time together in the big easy!!

May you know that you are in  my prayers and thoughts!
