Patricia Marie (Parker) Paravicini, age 77, of West Blocton, AL, passed away on February 4, 2018, at St Vincent’s Hospital in Birmingham, Alabama surrounded by family. She was born to Florence Marie (Parker) Patten and Willard Morse Parker on October 11, 1940 in Nova Scotia, Canada. Preceded in death by her husband Charles Monroe Paravicini, her parents and her brother, Joseph Caroll Parker, she is survived by her daughters Julie White (Luke), Karen Vaughn (Frank) and Kathie Martin (Jerry), 10 grandchildren and one great grandchild, as well as her brother, Willard Morse Parker, her brother, James Melbourne Parker, her cousin, Carol Rogers Payne and many other family and friends. She came to America at the age of 14 to live with family and attend school. She brought with her a strong work ethic and a friendly, giving nature that helped her build a life full of family, career accomplishment and friends. She graduated from Lee High School in Montgomery, AL., and working for insurance agencies as a young farm wife led to her successful career as a Senior Underwriter at Alfa Insurance. After retiring, Patricia always went back for her co-worker’s retirement parties, where her daughters would hear many stories of the fun they had working together. While building her career, she gave herself tirelessly to her family. Her three daughters, Julie, Karen and Kathie remember a childhood full of dance lessons, piano lessons, farm life and Sundays spent with extended families. She spent her life always putting others first and enjoyed annual beach trips with her husband of over 50 years along with her daughters and grandchildren whom she adored dearly.
Services are set for Thursday, February 8, at Mt. Hebron West Baptist Church with a visitation beginning at 1:00 pm and a Celebration of Life at 2:00 pm. Committal services will follow in Mt.
