Orson (Alex) Alexander Johnson, Jr., aged 76, passed away on April 7, 2025, in Prattville, Alabama. Born on November 12, 1948, Alex was known for his love of the outdoors, particularly deer hunting, and his passion for Alabama football and Nascar racing.
Orson is survived by his son, Orson (Andy) Johnson, III, and his wife Terry; grandchildren, Amber and Orson (Andrew) Johnson, IV; brother, Jimmy Johnson and his wife Dora; sister, Linda Lanier; his good friend, Kim Burch; and his beloved cat, Sam. He was preceded in death by his parents, Orson (Pete) and Iberia Johnson.
Orson's life was marked by his love for his family and his enthusiasm for his interests. He will be remembered for his spirited support of watching football games and his tales of hunting trips. He will be missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.
A visitation for Orson will be held Monday, April 14, 2025 at 10:00 AM at Leak Memory Chapel, 945 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL 36109, followed by a celebration of life chapel service at 11:00 AM.
