Nancy "Judy" Judean (Wright) Bethea

Nancy Judean (Judy) Wright Bethea, age 79, a resident of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, October 11, 2022. She was born in Tallassee, Alabama on June 8, 1943 to the late Emma P. and Archie Wright. She was one of 5 children.

She was preceeded in death by her husband, John Henry Bethea Jr., her parents as well as brothers, Cecil Wright (Shelby), Kenneth Wright, and Sister, Barbara Wright Whatley (Douglas).

She is survived by daughter, Lee'Sha Bethea Fox-Wynn, Son Steven Bethea (Autumn), Grandaughter, Bethany Fox (Jake), Grandsons, Addison Bethea (Ayesha), Blaze Wynn (Brandy), Bridge Wynn (Sky). Great Grandchildren, Mateo Bethea and her heart, Shaylee Rayne Fraiser.

She is also survived by one Sister, Shirley Wright Cotney (Elliott), Sisters in-law, Myra Bethea, Sue Bethea and Brother in-law, Charles Bethea as well as two very special family friends, Derek Pysher, who was like a son to her and Norine Williams who was like a daughter.

A 1962 Graduate of Reeltown High School, Judy was retired from the Montgomery Public School System, where she worked as Secretary-Bookkeeper. She loved crafting, designing and making custom jewelry and making flower arrangments for weddings.

Our hearts are sad but we can celebrate in knowing that today her body is healed from cancer and kidney disease. She is now in the presence of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ and reunited with her loving husband John Bethea .

We will cherish the memories of our loving Mother, Nonie, Nonya, Mimi and Big Sister. We rejoice in knowing that someday we will be reunited with her again in heaven.
