Merle Russ Chandler, 86, of Montgomery, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, April 17, 2013. She is survived by her husband, Royce Wilton Chandler. Children, David (Helen) Chandler, Orange Beach, AL, Royce Wilton (Chip) Chandler, Jr., (deceased) (Linda), Lincoln, AL, Russ (Dawn) Chandler, Montgomery, AL, Cass Chandler, Montgomery, AL and Alison (Steve) Andrews, Prattville, AL. Mrs. Chandler is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Services will be held at Vaughn Park Church of Christ on Saturday, April 20, at 3:00 pm. The family will receive visitors at 2:00 pm prior to the service. A private graveside service will be held. In lieu of flowers, make donations to Vaughn Park Church of Christ or your favorite charity.
