Matthew Matt Folmar Lowery

LOWERY, Matthew Folmar "Matt", age 19, went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, June 2, 2011. Matt was a student at Troy University and member of Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. Matt was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Matthew Carl Colley (Matt and Mary Folmar) of Troy Alabama.

Matt is survived by his parents, Julie Colley and David Earl Lowery Sr., brother, David "Davey" Earl Lowery, II (Christy), sister, Shannon Lowery Abrams (Jeff);

aunts, Annette and Allen Owen III, Cheryl and Dr. Mickey DiChiara, Helen and Kevin Long, Jennifer Colley Ventress;

uncle, Matt and Lori Colley,

and a host of loving cousins, nieces, nephews,girlfriend, Chelsea Ferguson, and many friends.

Serving as Pallbearers will be Campbell McNab, Kendell Mason, Drew Danner, Michael DiChiara, Mason Thompkins,Tyler Grimes, Aaron Skinner, Thomas Lindsey, and Taylor Keiffer. Honorary Pallbearers will be Neil DiChiara, Bobby Hussey, Allen Owen, Matthew Owen, Wesley Woolard, Brant Still, Nick Salvato, Alex Adams, Adam Johnston, Mark Cole, and Blane Mason.

Matt's Visitation will be held at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home on Saturday, June 4th, from 4:00 pm – 6:00 pm.

A Celebration of Matt’s Life will be held at Saint James United Methodist Church on Sunday, June 5th, at 4:00 pm., with Dr. Lester Spencer and Jeremy Smith officiating.
