Mary Frances "Pie" Pemberton Daniel

Mrs. Mary Frances (“Pie”) Pemberton Daniel, 86, of Montgomery passed away on April 21, 2014 after a prolonged illness. She was born in Tallassee, AL January 13, 1928. She is preceded in death by her husband, Emory G. Daniel, parents, Jimmie Lee and Effie Crepps Pemberton (Big Daddy and Big Mama) of Tallassee, AL, brother, Charles (Booty) Pemberton and one sister, Betty Pemberton Barker. She is survived by her sister, Myrtle Ruth Mason and two brothers, Jimmie Lee Pemberton, Jr. and Robert Pemberton, her two sons Tim Daniel and wife Linda of Tuscaloosa, AL, Kenneth Daniel and wife Donna of Roswell, GA, six grandchildren Rachel Latham and husband Ryan of Birmingham, AL, Sherrie Falkenstrom and husband Jason of Wellton, AZ, Amy Pribyl and husband Chris of Birmingham, AL, Scott Daniel of Birmingham, AL, Alex Daniel of Atlanta, GA, Haley Daniel of Roswell, GA, and six great grandchildren; Jon Daniel Latham, Juliana Latham, James Falkenstrom, Luke Falkenstrom, Bella Pribyl, Catherine Pribyl. Memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday, April 24th at White Chapel in Montgomery, AL with visitation at 2 p.m. Burial service will follow in Serenity Gardens, Greenwood Cemetery and will be officiated by her children, grandchildren and her brother, Rev. Robert Pemberton. Pallbearers are Chuck Barker, Alex Daniel, Ryan Latham, Chris Pribyl, Scott Daniel and Steve Barker. Honorary pallbearers are members of McGhee Road Baptist Church, caregivers at Forest Manor Nursing Home in Northport, AL. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate contributions to Alzheimer’s research or St. Jude‘s Children‘s Hospital.
