Margie Owens Snead

Margie is survived by her husband, Charles Snead; daughter Alicia (Todd) Wilson; sons Anthony (Sherri) Snead; Chris (Anne) Snead; and Keith (Chrissy) Foley; grandchildren Michael (Allison) Snead; Mitchell (Cheryl) Snead; Cathrine (Andrew) Walley and Cayden Snead, great grandchildren Addison Snead; McKenzie Walley and Grayson Walley; special friends Celeste Carnley and Peggy Klumpp.

Margie was preceded in death by father Clyde Owens and mother Pincie Owens; sister Mary Henderson; loving great grandson Charles Garrett Snead.

Margie worked as a pharmacy tech for many years. She enjoyed sewing and crocheting, turning out many baby blankets for newborns. Amid her quilting, Margie enjoyed reading and spending time with her family.

A friends and family visitation for Margie will be held Friday, November 20, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Leak Memory Chapel. A chapel service will occur at 11:00 AM with a graveside service to follow at 1:00 PM at Sunrise Memorial Park, 3013 Mobile Road, Greenville, AL 36037. Rev. Randy Harvell officiating.

Serving as pallbearers are Michael Snead, Mitchell Snead, Cayden Snead, Matt Ray and Andrew Walley.

The family would like to express their appreciation for the care and attention shared by Comfort Care Hospice, especially Joy, Cathy and McKenzie.
