Margie Ruth Allison

Margie Allison, 85, of Montgomery, passed away November 6, 2020. She was preceded in death by her husband, James T. (Jimmy) Allison; parents, George and Mamie Keener; step mother, Ella Keener; brother, Billy Keener and sister, Betty J. Langston. She is survived by her daughters, Vicki Allison and Kaye Johnson; brother, Arvil Keener and Sue G. Gilliland. And she is also survived by her two beloved furry friends, her cats, Wills and Wusa.

Margie was a long time member of Eastern Hills Baptist Church. She was also a member of the Mayfair Women’s Club and ABWA. She was also a volunteer at Baptist South Hospital. She also loved to travel, New York and Hawaii being two of her most favorite places.

Funeral services for Margie will be Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Eastern Hills Baptist Church at 11:00 A.M. with the visitation from 10:00 – 11:00. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jerry Keener, Paul Keener, Kem Jackson, Craig Keener, Michael Keener and Trey Higbe.
