Margaret was born on August 27, 1929 in Brundidge, AL and later moved to Montgomery, AL. She attended Lanier High School, graduating in 1947. She met and married her husband, Luther E. Reynolds, in May of 1949. Her husband joined the Army and off they went to different Army bases and Germany twice. Margaret lived the life of an Army wife. She juggled taking care of her husband, five daughters and moving frequently. When Luther was stationed overseas many times away from his family, Margaret valiantly took care of her girls on her own. She made the most of everything. She sewed most everything her daughters wore and of course they looked wonderful. She was very involved in the lives of her daughters with school functions and activities. She dearly loved her husband, daughters, sons-in-law, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Margaret lived a full rich life. She was dedicated to God, family and community. She gave her all in everything she did. At church, she was in the choir, taught GA's and Sunday School. One of her most cherished accomplishments was being the President of the Garden Club of Alabama from 2007-09.
In remembering our mother, we will always think of her wonderful smile, how beautiful and elegant she was and her gracious way of making everyone feel important and loved. To us she was the "Virtuous Woman" from Proverbs.
