Linda Kae Trippe

She is survived by her husband, Dr. Bruce Sheldon Trippe, her mother Wanda Jean; her brothers George

“Buddy” Moyers and Ronnie Drexel; son, Dr. William Ryan McWhorter (Paula); daughter Kimberly Marie Schoettker (Benjamin); and eight grandchildren: Neva, Zane, Shephard, Samuel, Iyla, Selah, Clara Kae and Teal.

Linda supported her husband’s medical practice over 30 years. She loved the month in which she was born and celebrated the 4th of July, often saying the fireworks were for her birthday. She cheered her children on in their life’s work and marriages, mutually sharing in all the joys of raising children. She treasured each of her grandchildren, supporting every one of their endeavors, hobbies and love of the Lord.

Linda never missed an opportunity to be with her family and was well known for making things fun. She had a persuasive nature, motivating others for good causes. Her family knows how competitive she was at Scrabble and how she perfected the best soups and nutritious foods. Linda gave good gifts as her love language, and would unashamedly declare the gospel to those God brought her way.

Visitation is Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at 11:00 AM at Trinity Presbyterian Church, 1728 South Hull Street, and a memorial service to follow at 12:00 PM.

In lieu of remembrances donations may be made to Trinity Presbyterian church or Mission Messiah
