Cindy,
     Your mom's smile was always contagious!  What a joy to was have her apart of the VF family.  I'm so sorry to hear about her recent passing.   Praying for strength & comfort  for you and your family, keep the faith and know that she's sitting at the feet of Jesus.  I'm sorry I want be able to make it today, you all are in my prayers today.  

Cindy, we have been out of town and just now found out about your Mom. I never met her at VF, but she sure raised a great daughter. I am so sorry for the suddness  of her death and the sorrow you and all of her family  are now feeling. It is such a blessing when we know that our loved ones are safely home with the Lord.  Trusting His plan for each of our lives  as we live by faith brings great comfort during these difficult times.  I plan to be at her memorial service tomorrow to share in her "home going" with all those who knew and loved her.  You are in my prayers. Cindy I am so very sorry for your loss.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the other family members and friends.  I am so very thankful that I got to meet her.  Wish we could have had more time together.  She will be missed by those who knew and loved her.

So shocked and saddened by your loss, Linda was a fun,  sweet and kind spirit who always made me smile and laugh. The universe has her back and her memories will always be in our hearts.  


Cindy, I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. I only knew her from our time together at Church. She always greeted me with a smile and a word o encouragement. She always let me know that God loves us, regardless of the pain that we were in. Rest n Paradise my awesome Friend Linda. Going to miss you dear Sister Linda, but we know where you are and we know how to get there....through Christ.  Markas and Cindy, you have someone to be proud of....an awesome woman of God.  There is no expiration date on honoring her with your life.  Be encouraged and stay the course.  Nothing would make mom prouder than to see you both continue to seek the Lord in all things.  Keep standing on His promises.  Love you both and praying great blessings and peace to you during this time of loss....but heaven's gain.

Linda and I went to the same small school in a remote part of Oregon, although I was a couple of years older .  In fact, she and her family lived across the sidewalk from my family and she was a loved member of our little community.  Even as children she demonstrated a level-headed personality that we all grew to admire...and she played wicked dodgeball out in the alley!  Although we separated as we all graduated and dispersed, Linda and I were recently brought back together on social media and were able to revisit our shared childhood and I'm so happy I had that chance.   I will always have fond memories of Linda every time I think about my childhood.  What better testament can we have than to be remembered with  a smile?

Cindy, I am so sorry to hear about your mom! However, meeting her at the church, I knew that she was a sweet and kind lady. I'm in shock, it's like I just saw her like a few months ago! I will be praying for the family!! Love you☹

Cindy and Marc, I am still in shock at the news of your Mom’s passing.
She messaged saying she was coming back to Oregon, so I called her on the 25th of last month and we talked for a long time.
She was so excited that she would be back in Oregon.
Linda always made me smile and was the true definition of “Friend”
Her family was her whole world and  she was so proud of all of them.

Cindy, I was so sorry to hear about Linda’s passing. It was always special when she was at Marilyn’s for our girls weekends. She was such a hoot to be around😊 I was looking forward to seeing more of her when she moved back, but how special that you got to have her with you the last couple of years! ❤️ You and Nicole are very much in our prayers! Cindy, what a privilege to have met your precious Mom and see the deep love and care you both had for each other. My love and prayers as you move forward with such precious memories and the power of such love. 

What a wonderful person!! She will be missed by so many. She be-friended me when I moved to Dallas Oregon and did not know a soul.  A neighbor first then a best friend. After I moved to Alaska we only occasionally kept in touch, but she was always a friend in my heart and I know I was in hers.   She was always quick with a smile and always lots of fun.  May Cindy,  Mark and your grandkids  find comfort  in knowing your home and  at peace. Whenever you cross my mind I'll think of your smile and swan like neck we had so much fun with. Love you!!!
