Linda McCord Fontaine, 77, a resident of Montgomery, AL, passed away on Wednesday, October 14, 2020. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 20, 2020 from 12:00PM – 12:45PM at Leak Memory Chapel. A graveside service will follow at 1:00PM at Greenwood Cemetery with Pastor Bob McElvy officiating. Linda will be remembered as the sweetest, most caring and thoughtful person you could be around. She always put others needs above her own, and was always willing to be of service to those around her. Linda had several hobbies which included painting, reading, cooking, needlepoint and woodcarving. She touched many lives and will be greatly missed by all that knew her. Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Fontaine; and grandson, Matthew David Fontaine. She is survived by her son, David Fontaine (Kerri); daughter, Elizabeth Fontaine; grandchildren, Andrew Thomas Fontaine, Matthew John Chandler, Kaytie Lynn Chandler; siblings, Sharee Browning (Doyle), Bennie McCord, Jr. (Donna), Rosemary Johnson (Mike), Michael McCord; and numerous nieces and nephews.
