Laura Lynne Allen, born January 13, 1978, a resident of Montgomery died Monday, March 12 2012. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 16, 2012 at 11 AM at St. Bede Catholic Church with her cousin Father Den Irwin presiding. Visitation will begin at 9:30 AM. Burial will follow in St. Margaret’s Cemetery. Laura is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother Margaret Azar Clark and her paternal grandparents Mary Jehle and Paul Raymond Allen Sr. She is survived by her grandfather Edward Paschal Clark Sr. and her loving parents Deanie and Ray Allen and siblings Paul Edward Allen (Teresa), Yvonne Allen McGinty (Charlie), Maria Allen Justice (Jason), and Raymond Clark Allen (Kerry) and her adoring nephews and nieces Paul Edward Allen Jr., Mary Ashley Allen, Matthew Jordan Allen, Margaret Ann Allen, John Raymond Allen, Allen Sheridan McGinty, Anna Kathryn McGinty, Charles Connor McGinty, Joseph Paschal McGinty, Molly Elizabeth Robinson, Sophia Elizabeth Justice, Mary Alice Justice, and Isabella Pride Justice. She will be dearly missed by her uncles and aunts Lynne Clark Irwin (Mike), Edward Paschal Clark Jr. (Pat), Maureen Clark Trussell (Rob, deceased), Jeffery Stephen Clark (Jill), Kathryn Annette Clark (Richard, deceased), David Michael Clark (Joyce), Cynthia Clark Harrison (Lee), Loy Allen Wood, Kay Allen Hassett (Bobby), Margaret Allen Fields and all of her cousins. Pallbearers will be Paul Allen, Clark Allen, Paul Allen Jr., Matthew Allen, Charlie McGinty, Allen McGinty, Jason Justice and Ed Clark Jr. Laura graduated from Montgomery Catholic High School and attended the University of Mississippi. She graduated from Auburn University Montgomery with a Bachelor’s degree in Justice and Public Safety. Laura was an accomplished paralegal, beginning her career at Beasley Allen Law Firm. Her enthusiasm for the arts and her desire to work with students took her to the Savannah College of Art and Design. Laura was currently working with her father, two brothers and cousin at Bradley Plumbing and Heating, Inc. Her generous spirit and compassion touched all who met her. She will be dearly missed.
