William Kline Flowers, 81, a resident of Montgomery, Al., passed away Saturday, October 1, 2022. Funeral services will be Thursday, October 6, 2022 at Eastmont Baptist Church at 12:00 pm with Reverend Mike Northcutt officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Kline was the epitome of a humble and meek, mild mannered Christian man. He was a walking example of the fruits of the spirit. He was a veteran of the Army National Guard and a 40 year veteran of the State of Alabama Department of Transportation. He loved all things outdoors but his greatest joy and love was his family, especially his grandchildren who named and called him “Pa”.
Mr. Flowers was preceded in death by his father Lamar Flowers, mother Lucille Blankenship, and brothers Charles, Gerald and Benny Flowers. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years Becky Flowers, sons Terry (Cindy) Flowers and Mike Flowers, daughters Ashley (Jason) Acreman and Brooke (Anthony) Hall, sisters Brunese Mitchell and Lorena Connor, grandchildren Anabelle and Thatcher Hall, Isabella Acreman, Jennifer (Matt) Tidwell and Jessica Scarpace and great grandchildren Macy, Jack and Jase Tidwell.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm on Thursday at the church. Leak Memory Chapel Directing.
