Mr. Sanders was retired from the Montgomery Fire Department.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Sarah and Jack Sanders.
Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Linda Sanders; children, Kenneth Wayne (Christy) Sanders, Darrin (Misty) Sanders; grandchildren, Emily, Jon Ross, and Katherine Sanders; step grandchildren, Justin (Nicole) Sellers, Kevin (Michelle) Webster; step great grandchild, Landon Webster.
The visitation will be held Saturday, October 10, 2015 from 10-11:00 AM at Leak Memory Chapel. The graveside service will follow at 11:30 AM in Greenwood Serenity Cemetery with Reverend Dick Stark officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
