Kenneth Wayne Wright

WRIGHT, Kenneth Wayne, 69, died on Friday, May 2, after a brief battle with cancer. Mr. Wright suffered serious injuries from an automobile accident at age 22 and his life was marked by a courageous, life-long struggle to overcome his adversities thru faith and good humor. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

He is survived by his sister Renova Wright Williams (John Hamiga), from Colleyville, Tx; sister-in-law, Earline Cook Wright , Greenville, Al; and his devoted caretaker and dear friend Evelyn Hardy of Montgomery, along with a niece and several nephews.

Mr. Wright was preceded in death by his parents, Berry David and Minnie Lee Wright; his brother David Harlan Wright; and sister Loraine Wright Cook.

The family will receive friends at Leak Memory Chapel on Monday, May 5, 2014, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. A graveside memorial service will be held at 11:00 on Tuesday, May 6, followed by burial at Montevallo National Cemetery.
