Kenneth was a loving husband, a father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, uncle, friend, and a hard worker. He loved spending his free time with his family, watching westerns, and enjoying a sweet treat, especially ice cream. He was competitive and loved to win. He loved family get togethers, playing board and card games and just enjoying time with the ones he loved most. He was strong in his faith and loved the Lord.
He is survived by his loving wife, Jean Maddox; daughter Leisa Maxwell (Josh) of Eastman, Ga, son, Jase Maddox (Sonja) of Omaha, Ne, daughter, Jaime Kemp of Montgomery, Al; father, Kenneth Ray Maddox Sr. (Becky) of Montgomery, Al; grandchildren, Ashley Studstill (Blake) Eastman, Ga, Hollie Harrison (Mitchell) Wetumpka, Al, Hannah Searcy (Kyle) Wetumpka, Al, Kenny Lee Maddox, Omaha, Ne, Jacque Maddox, Omaha, Ne, Amber Maxwell, Savannah, Ga, Ava Maxwell, Eastman, Ga, Michael (TK) Kemp, Ashland, Ky; great grandchildren, Susannah and Parker Studstill, Alice Harrison; sisters, Karen Maddox Montz (Randy) of Pike Road, Al, Georgiann Maddox Jones (Kevin) Prattville, Al, Meredith Maddox Henderson (Greg) of Grapevine, Tx, Beverly Joy Baker, of Tallassee, Al; brothers, Jason Matthew Maddox (Tammy) of Pike Road, Al, Michael Morgan Maddox of Montgomery, Al, Tommy Daniel Baker (Freida) of Montgomery, Al; and several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Georgia Mahone Maddox.
A visitation for Ken Jr. "Peanut" will be held Monday, July 1, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home, 10505 Atlanta Highway, Montgomery, AL 36117, followed by a celebration of life from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
