Ken Hallford

Charles Kenneth Hallford, age 75, of Montgomery, Alabama passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2022. Ken was born October 20, 1946 in Hartford, Alabama to Charlie Marvin Hallford, Jr. and Vera Gary Hallford. While he was preceded in death by his parents, he is survived by his wife of 55 years, Judy Esco Hallford; his children Jason (Pamela) Hallford, Jaimie H. (Jason) Frey; his grandchildren Ashley, Josh and Jake Hallford and Owen Frey; and his siblings Peggy Hallford (George) Heneveld and Donald Keith (Jackie Stokes) Hallford.

Growing up in Geneva, Alabama, he enjoyed baseball and became an avid New York Yankees fan. After high school, Mr. Hallford joined the Department of Public Safety with an eye to becoming a Major within the Alabama State Troopers. He served the state faithfully and ended his 42 year career as a Major. While he will be remembered as one who loved his family, he also loved being a trooper. Ken was a tremendous respecter of law enforcement and proud to be an agent. He loved bass fishing, old school country music, and Alabama football.

A visitation for Ken will be held Friday, May 27, 2022 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Leak Memory Chapel, 945 Lincoln Rd, Montgomery, Alabama 36109, followed by a Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 12:00 PM.
