A visitation for Katy will be held Tuesday, July 25, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at Leak Memory Chapel, 945 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL 36109. Following the visitation will be a graveside service at 11:00 am, with Dr. Jim Graham, officiating, at Greenwood Serenity Memorial Gardens, 909 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL 36109.
Katy is survived by her beloved son, Avery; her loving, parents, Lester and Beth Brett; brother and sister-in-law, Adam and Diane Brett; her finance, Otto Collins; aunts and uncles, Rob and Lori Cox, Eddie and Donna Cox, and Kathy and Allen Stephens; grandparents, Teresa and Teddy Brown; and so many other relatives and special friends.
Katy was preceded in death by maternal grandmother, Dorothy Earline Cox and paternal grandmother, Annie Jane Jackson Brett.
Katy had a heart bigger than herself and was always willing to help everyone, she never met a stranger and also had a great love for animals. She will truly be missed by all who loved and knew her.
